What is PPANI?
Professional Photographers Association of Northern Ireland.
“The PPANI was created in 1966 by a group of enthusiastic and professional photographers from here in Northern Ireland. Their aim was to set and maintain a high standard of photographic practice within a professional community of photographers. Something still strived for today.
This association is home to Northern Ireland’s most amazing photographers. Our photographers are held to the highest of standards set by this association and each photographer is a specialist and qualified in their respective chosen fields.” – PPANI
Each year, accreditation is awarded to photographers across Northern Ireland, attracting a collection of high-calibre creatives. I’m delighted to say Chris Semple Photography received 2019 recognition from PPANI in the following categories:
PPANI Family Portrait Photographer of the Year 2019 (WINNER)
PPANI Pre-Wedding & Engagement Photographer of the Year 2019 (WINNER)
PPANI Wedding Album of the Year 2019 (RUNNER UP)
FAMILY PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY (Winning Image)

This photograph was taken from the session ‘Portraits in the Park’ that I ran the following autumn in Moira Demesne. These sessions were 30-minutes long, and always had me in hysterics as little ones had full permission to roll about in leaves and chuck them at their parents, and they always made the most of it! A special thank-you to all of the event
