“Remember that it’s you and your husband’s day. Nobody else’s.”

We chose Woodside Chapel as we wanted to have a Humanist ceremony in a picturesque church setting. For the reception, Bellurgan Park provided a perfect combination of Mumford and Sons meets Downton Abbey.

There were many benefits to having our wedding reception in Bellurgan Park! As it was a large country house, rather than a hotel, we had a blank canvas to work with. Sometimes hotels tie you down with decor that they expect you to use. In addition to a blank canvas, the country house is surrounded by acres upon acres of woodland, so we tried to incorporate this wild and rustic look into the decor as much as we could. Some things we used were logs from the local forest, wooden decorations, and wild flowers.

SELECTING A PHOTOGRAPHER
We really wanted to avoid the overly posed photoshoots and opt for more natural, ‘in the moment’ photos alongside some more contemporary, artistic shots. When we came across your page we knew straight away that we had found the perfect photographer.
We already have, and will, continue to recommend you to everyone. We could not have been happier with the photography. All of our guests commented on how incredibly friendly and professional you were and we have had a number of our guests enquire about you for their own weddings or weddings in their families. We really could not have asked for more. We had the best of both worlds in that you did a great job of rallying the family around for the group shots whilst also being very discreet, taking some beautifully candid photos throughout the ceremony and reception. You also took all of our requests and ideas into account. We got all that we wanted and more both on the day and in the end result.
